The Account: Simple to Open, Strict to Verify
Registration takes five minutes and asks nothing unusual. The strictness comes later, at verification, and almost every problem people have with it traces back to something typed carelessly at sign-up.

- Sign-up time
- About 5 minutes
- Minimum age
- 18
- Accounts allowed
- One per household
- Verified before
- First withdrawal
The chain that causes every problem
Registration and verification are not two separate processes. They are one process with a gap in the middle, and understanding that removes most of the friction people report.
What you type at sign-up is what gets checked against your ID later. A name entered as Mike instead of Michael, a date of birth in the wrong order, an old address, and the account opens fine. It fails weeks later, at exactly the moment you have money to withdraw.
The fix is not clever: copy the details from your licence or passport while you fill the form, and upload your documents the same day rather than the day you win.
What is checked against what
Every field at registration maps to a later check. Nothing on the form is decorative.
| Sign-up field | Checked against | Common failure |
|---|---|---|
| Full name | Government photo ID | Nicknames, missing middle name, maiden versus married name |
| Date of birth | Photo ID | Day and month reversed |
| Residential address | Utility bill or bank statement | An old address with no matching recent bill |
| Payment method | Card photo or wallet screenshot | A method in a partner’s name |
| Currency | Nothing, but it is permanent | Choosing anything other than AUD |
| Nothing, but bonuses go there | An address the player never reads |
Account rules worth knowing before you sign up
- One account per person, household and IP. a second account to reclaim the welcome offer typically results in both being closed and the balance voided.
- Currency is permanent. set it to AUD at registration, because it cannot be changed and anything else costs conversion twice.
- Verification gates withdrawals, not deposits. you can deposit and play without it, which is precisely why people leave it until it is urgent.
- Payment methods must be in your name. including a partner’s card or wallet, which is not accepted.
- Self-exclusion is not reversible early. support cannot shorten it, and a new account will be closed if found.
- Deposit limits take effect immediately when lowered. raising one carries a waiting period, which is the point.
The settings to change on day one
Two things, both in the account settings, both taking under a minute.
Set a deposit limit that matches what you actually intend to spend in a week. It is trivially easy to set now and effectively impossible to set at the moment you would most benefit from it. Lowering it applies immediately; raising it carries a delay.
Turn on reality checks if they are available. A periodic reminder of elapsed session time is easy to dismiss, but it interrupts the flow state that makes an hour turn into three.

The detail
Frequently asked questions
- How long does registration take?
About five minutes including the email confirmation. Verification is separate and can be done at any time before your first withdrawal.
- Can I play without verifying?
Yes. Verification is only required before money leaves the account, which is why it is so often left until it is urgent.
- Can two people in one house each have an account?
Accounts are limited to one per person, household and IP address for bonus purposes, so two at one address will usually be treated as duplicates.
- Can I change my account currency?
No. It is fixed at registration, so choose Australian dollars when you create the account.
- What is the minimum age?
18, enforced through the identity check before your first withdrawal rather than by the tick box at sign-up.
- Can I use my partner’s card to deposit?
No. Payment methods must be in your own name, and verification checks this before a payout is released.
