Verification: A Ten-Minute Job That Becomes a Three-Day One
Nothing about the requirements is unusual. What makes verification the most complained-about part of any casino is timing: people do it under pressure, with a payout waiting, and send photographs that fail.

- Required before
- First withdrawal
- Core documents
- Photo ID and address proof
- Bill age
- Within 2 to 3 months
- Review time
- About a business day
Why it exists and why it is not optional
Three reasons: confirming you are over 18, confirming money returns to the person who deposited it, and meeting anti-money-laundering obligations that apply to any licensed operator.
It also protects you. The same check that irritates you when you want your money is the one that stops someone who has your password withdrawing your balance to their own account.
What is negotiable is when you do it, not whether. The documents are identical on a quiet Tuesday and on the day of a payout. The wait is not.
What is accepted and what is not
| Document | Accepted | Rejected |
|---|---|---|
| Photo ID | Passport, or driver licence and national ID front and back, in colour | Expired documents, black and white scans, student or work cards |
| Proof of address | Utility bill, bank or card statement within 2 to 3 months | Anything older, or a document without your address |
| Card proof | Front and back photo, middle digits covered, name visible | Name or last four digits obscured |
| E-wallet proof | Screenshot of the account page showing your registered name | A payment confirmation with no account holder name |
| Selfie with ID | Your face and the whole document readable in one frame | Cropped, blurred, or the document out of focus |
The operator states two months in its terms and three months on its verification page. Treat two months as the safe target and you will never hit the discrepancy.
Photographing documents so they pass first time
Most rejections are photography failures, not identity failures. Five minutes here saves a round trip that costs a day.
Flat surface, dark background
It makes the document edges unambiguous, which is what the reviewer is checking first.
All four corners in frame
The single most common rejection. Leave a visible margin around the whole document.
Daylight, no flash
Flash produces a white blob across the hologram on a licence, hiding exactly the features being verified.
Shoot straight down
Hold the phone parallel to the document. Angled shots distort characters and make numbers ambiguous.
Read your own photo back
Zoom in. If you cannot read the licence number, nobody else can either.
Send the original file
Not a screenshot of a photo, not a filtered version, not a scan converted to greyscale.
The six rejection reasons
- A cut-off corner. the document must be complete within the frame.
- Glare across the ID. flash on a laminated licence obscures the security features.
- An out-of-date bill. anything much beyond three months is refused.
- A name mismatch. a maiden name on the ID against a married name on the account needs a marriage certificate to bridge it.
- Greyscale. colour is required, because colour is part of what makes a document verifiable.
- Only one side of the licence. Australian driver licences need both front and back.

Timing, honestly
A complete and legible set is normally reviewed within a business day. Send it the day you register and it is finished long before you have anything to withdraw.
The scenario that produces the complaints is the other one: request a withdrawal, get asked for documents, send a photo with a corner missing, get asked again, and three days vanish while the payout sits pending.
Verification is also a one-off. Once approved you stay approved, although additional documents can be requested if you change payment method or withdraw an unusually large amount.
Frequently asked questions
- Do I need to verify before playing?
No. Verification is required only before money leaves the account. You can deposit, claim bonuses and play without it.
- How recent must the proof of address be?
Within the last two to three months. The operator quotes both figures in different places, so aim for two.
- My licence shows an old address. Is that a problem?
Usually not, as long as your separate proof of address matches the address on the account. The ID verifies identity, the bill verifies address.
- Why do they want a photo of my card?
To confirm the card is yours and matches the deposit. Cover the middle digits and leave your name and the last four visible.
- Will I be asked for a selfie?
Sometimes. It is requested at the operator’s discretion rather than as a standard part of every check.
- Where do I send the documents?
In the cashier when requesting a payout, or earlier through live chat, which is the better option.
